Hello, I'm Jaimee

Hey! I'm Jaimee with two Es. I'm a Portrait and Wedding Photographer located in Bergen County New Jersey. I almost always have my hair in a bun, and I own an excessive amount of reusable water bottles (if you've found the perfect one let me know).
Some of my other titles include mom, wife, and mediocre latte artist (self titled). I'm a social butterfly. Entertaining family and friends in my home is one of my favorite things to do. Come over and I'll make you a homemade latte topped with occasionally impressive latte art. When I'm not working you can usually find me chasing around my toddler with a baby on my hip, or cuddling on the couch with my two dogs Raelynn and Sadie. We also have a cat named Montana. Can you guess who she's named after?

I love finding new recipes to challenge myself with. My goal is to perfect the french macaron.
I'm a dog person for sure. When I was a kid I wanted to be a dog trainer when I grew up and read an unhealthy amount of books about them.
Board games, team games, party games... you name a game and I'm in. Just as long as it doesn't require athletic ability,.
I would choose a good pasta dish over dessert any day.

"11/10 everything we wanted "
11/10 everything we wanted. Jaimee was awesome to work with. She was friendly, warm, and most of all amazing at what she does! We found Jaimee through Instagram and felt her style was exactly what we wanted. It was clean, straight forward, and really captured the moment the people she was photographing were in. When we first did our engagement shoot was the first time we met Jaimee in person, she was personable, relaxed, and didn’t rush us. We were able to do an outfit change (in the woods while Jaimee shielded us with a blanket lol) and she had some great ideas. For two people who had never done professional photos, Jaimee made it really easy to be ourselves... Can’t wait to use Jaimee again for various occasions in the future :)

We also shared a Pinterest board in order to share ideas prior to the session which was helpful to get a sense of where we were all at. We continued meeting with Jaimee to lock down details for the wedding. She has us fill out a questionnaire with all the important information so she had it all in one place. She kept a schedule and frequently checked in throughout the planning process to ensure we were all still on the same page. She was even a good sport towards the big day when we asked her to meet and talk with us a few times. The second shooter she got for the big day was great as well and was similar in style to Jaimee. Jaimee even set up a video call for us all to meet so we didn’t feel like strangers the day of. Jaimee worked well with our vendors and ensured everything that needed to be captured was. We didn’t even notice them much throughout the whole evening which meant they fit right in, weren’t intrusive, and still got all the shots we wanted. Jaimee truly listened to what we wanted all while doing a great job wrangling together all the people we wanted photos with. Can’t wait to use Jaimee again for various occasions in the future :)

Nothing was forced, it was such a natural outing and it felt like we were simply hanging out with Jaimee, who happened to have a camera on her. Jaimee is such a relaxed photographer. She took her time with us, as we walked along a path. She made sure the boys were comfortable with her, so that when it came time to take some posed shots, they would sit, or stay near dad and myself. She even brought them treats! I highly recommend Jaimee to anyone looking for a very relaxed, calming, photo shoot... Thank you Jaimee for capturing our family as we were transitioning from a party of four, to a party of five!"
